The verse says
The offering is the infinite. What is offered is the infinite. It is poured by the infinite into the fire of the infinite. Whoever is absorbed in that reaches the infinite.

It is not an argument. It is closer to a chant, and it is recited before meals in many houses to this day.

Going deeper
This verse is the high point of the chapter and it works by removing distinctions rather than by adding information.
A sacrifice normally has parts: someone offers, something is offered, into something, to obtain something. Four terms, held apart. Here all of them collapse into one word, and the sentence still stands.
What that describes is a state in which the doer has stopped being separate from what is done. Brahma-karma-samādhinā — absorbed in action as the infinite.
The verse has an enormous afterlife. It is the standard blessing spoken over food in many Hindu households, which means it functions less as philosophy than as a daily habit of attention.
And it is worth noticing where the chapter has arrived. It began with a lineage of teachers and a question about arithmetic. It has come to a line where nothing in the sentence is separate from anything else, and it did so through a discussion of how to do your job.
