श्लोक कहता है

Whoever, standing in oneness, is devoted to me as standing in all beings — that practitioner lives in me, however he happens to be living.

सरल शब्दों में

The last clause is the generous one.

Sarvathā vartamāno api — however he is going about, whatever he is doing.

No condition is attached to it. No posture, no place, no hour.

आपने इसे कहाँ महसूस किया है

A friend runs a garage and thinks of it as a place people come when they are stuck. The cars are real and the money is real. Neither of those is what he thinks he is doing.

और गहराई में

This verse undoes the entrance requirement the chapter has spent thirty verses building.

Everything so far has been conditional: the right seat, the measured food, the restrained senses, the solitary hour. Then: however he happens to be living.

That is not a contradiction, and the difference is what the two halves are for. The instructions describe how a person gets there. This describes what is true once they have, and at that point the conditions drop away because they were scaffolding.

Ekatvam āsthitaḥ — standing in oneness. It is the standing that carries the verse, not the sitting.

Which is why the chapter can end where it does without abandoning the householder it has been addressing all along. The meditation was never the destination. It was one of the doors.
