श्लोक कहता है
You should cut this doubt of mine completely, Krishna. There is nobody other than you who could cut it.
सरल शब्दों में
Arjuna asks for the doubt to be cut, and the verb is the same one from 4.42.
Not answered. Cut.
And then the reason, which is not about Krishna's authority.
आपने इसे कहाँ महसूस किया है
There is one person whose answer on this would actually settle it for you. Not because they are cleverer than everyone else. Because they have seen you at your worst and stayed.
और गहराई में
The reason Arjuna gives is worth separating from the one a religious text would usually give.
He does not say because you are the lord of all worlds, though he could. The claim is narrower and more human: nobody else could cut this particular doubt.
That fits the relationship the book keeps insisting on. At 4.3 he was called devotee and friend in the same line. The question he is asking now — will my unfinished attempt have been wasted — is not one you take to an authority. It is one you take to somebody who knows you.
Chettum arhasi — you are the one fit to cut it. An appeal to fitness, not to power.
And the answer that comes back is addressed in kind. Krishna's first word in the next verse is not a doctrine. It is a name.
